The Varsity team with the record so far 3-7 and the rest of the season to go: we are cheering for our girls to keep up the hard work. “We started the season with some tough matchups and struggled but have continued to work hard and get better every game.” Coach K Varsity Coach said “We recently changed up some positions and that seems to be a positive change so far.’’ The Varsity team has been working on staying consistent and continuing to minimize their unforced errors. “We had a rough start so i think i would like them to know: "You can't go back and change the beginning but you can start where you are and change the ending" - C.S. Lewis”. The JV team record so far is an impressive 7-2 including going undefeated at Pine City’s Tournament (9/7), well done girls! JV coach Kelsie Smith’s recap, “This team of athletes is one year faster, stronger, and smarter. They are really putting what they have learned into action on the courts. The team effort and competitiveness has been impressive so far.” and we couldn't agree more! “I want the girls to know how proud I am of them. There's still a long way to go and I know they have it in them to become even better as the season continues”. The JV team is such a positive team and hard working team and great role models for the younger girls modeling positive attitudes and teamwork as well as individually pushing themselves and keeping each other accountable. The C-Team record so far is 1-4, taking their first win, tuesday night (9/10) against Isle , congratulations ladies! Keep up the hard work! “I want the girls to know how proud I am of them,” Coach Hagen said. “There's still a long way to go and I know they have it in them to become even better as the season continues.” The Varsity, JV, and C-Team are all motivated, positive and hardworking teams who are willing to work towards their goals not only for themselves but for the team. The Team and coaches appreciate the support from fans. “We would like to thank our fans for their continued support, encouragement, and excitement for Jaguar volleyball as we keep moving towards rebuilding a successful volleyball program.” Overall the season has been competitive and we are looking forward to what the team will bring us next.
