The girls JH basketball teams started their season with a bang! Practice for them began on October 29, since then it’s been focus and drive. Coaches Brad Hopkins and Tom Linden with their second year coaching together looks like it’s going to be a successful year for the two teams. The coaches sure did their fair share of the victory’s the jags have had recently. The majority seventh grade girls team has been playing together since they were fifth graders and since, have grown as a team. The eighth graders have had their ups and downs but look like they’ve finally found their way to victory. The 7th grade JH girls basketball team sure had a big kickoff to their season! Their first game was against East Central Eagles at their home court. The jags took lead and ended the game 48-0, they showed no mercy for the eagles. Then last night, November 15, the jags beat the Tigers at Rush City with a score of *** The 8th grade JH girls basketball team went all out and pushed hard their first game against East Central on November 13. The drive and determination the young lady's’ had payed off in the end when they came out on top, with 7th grade winning 48-0 and 8th grade winning 30-12. On Thursday November 15 the jags took on the Rush City Tigers and 8th grade won 24-9. What a great start to their season!
