Q: What is the biggest difference between your hometown and Hinckley? A: It is smaller here and you get everywhere by car. In Cologne you can go everywhere by train and they come every ten minutes. You are more mobile I think. Also the people are different. Q: What has been the hardest part of living America? A: At the beginning you don’t know anybody so you are like alone and don’t really know what you can do or what you should or should not do. Q: Do you do any activities or sports in Germany? A: I go to a fitness center in Germany and I play the piano. Q: What are some differences between HFHS and your school in Germany? A: Here you can’t wear anything what you want, and in my school you can wear what you want. We don't have like a dress code. Also, the subjects are different- for example, you have child development or textile design, and we just have normal subjects like math, German and English. Q: Is school easier or harder in America? A: Easier I think. Q: Have you or will you try any sports or activities? A: Yes, I would like try basketball because my host family also plays basketball so we could go together but I'm not sure yet. Q: What is your favorite food from America? A: Mac 'n' Cheese or Burgers. Q: What Is your favorite food from Germany? A: Potatoes with sour cream.
