12/21/2018 0 Comments 'Tis the Season of Holiday Concerts!By Kenidy Cessna Starting at 9 a.m. the lights came on and the Holiday Spirit filled the Hinckley Finlayson High School Auditorium. The Hinckley Elementary School students and staff put on an outstanding show for families and community members. The program is a yearly performance from grades K-6th grade. There is always about two or three programs a year for families of students. At 9:30 a.m. Kindergarten-3rd Grade put on the opening performance and did a wonderful job at that. Later that day at 1:00 4th grade-6th grade closed the day out with confidence and smiles.
Then on Monday at 7:30 the senior high band and choir took place at the Ostrand Fine Arts Center. The performed Betelehemu, I Saw Three Ships, O Holy Night, Winters Waking, and Donanoube Cannon. The senior high musicians and singers put on a very entertaining show and didn’t leave an ounce of Holiday Spirit out! “The altos did a great job harmonizing during the concert, especially ‘O Holy Night’ which was one of our best songs.” says HFHS choir member Brooke Golly.
